These Are a Few of Our Favorite Books

Updated: Aug 7

There are SO MANY fantastic children's books about birds out there, we couldn't begin to list them all. Seriously! New nature books seem to be showing up on the bookstore and library shelves daily (woohoo!) And since we're all readers around here, we've collectively accrued a mighty collection of children's books at our houses and we've checked out our fair share from the library. The kids (and adults!) can't seem to get enough so we thought we would share a few of our favorites:

* "Little Hoot" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Jen Corace

* "Owl Babies" by Martin Waddell

* "Fine Feathered Friends - All About Birds" by Tish Rabe

* "Little Owl's Day" by Divya Srinivasan

* "Little Owl's Night" by Divya Srinivasan

* "Are You My Mother?" by P.D. Eastman

* "Mama Built a Little Nest" by Jennifer Ward

* "Birds, Nests, and Eggs" by Mel Boring

* "My Book of Birds" by Geraldo Valerio

* "Bird Builds a Nest" by Martin Jenkins

* "Little Owl Lost" by Chris Haughton

* "Drawing Cute Birds - in Colored Pencil" by Ai Akikusa

Do you have a favorite children's book about birds? Let us know!

Happy Reading!
